It’s high time for Stella Lane to settle down and find a husband – or so her mother tells her. This is no easy task for a wealthy, successful woman like Stella, who also happens to have Asperger’s. Analyzing data is easy; handling the awkwardness of one-on-one dates is hard. To overcome her lack of dating experience, Stella decides to hire a male escort to teach her how to be a good girlfriend.

Faced with mounting bills, Michael decides to use his good looks and charm to make extra cash on the side. He has a very firm no repeat customer policy, but he’s tempted to bend that rule when Stella approaches him with an unconventional proposal.

The more time they spend together, the harder Michael falls for this disarming woman with a beautiful mind, and Stella discovers that love defies logic.

First of all – I couldn’t for the life of me believe that this book is a debut novel!? This was super amazing! And original! And unique too!😱

I have never really read a book like this. It’s very common to come across stories where rich guys fall for girls who earn money by selling their body, and they suddenly become obsessed with the girl, spoil her and the girl in turn understands him and helps him deal with all the issues.🙄 Every now and then we come across such stories, BUT in this book the tables are turned!! 😄It had a very fresh approach and was very entertaining indeed.

Moreover, it was really interesting to know how an autistic person, falls in love and learns to trust herself. Stella Lane, hated it when people touched her. It irritated her and drove her crazy. She was a control freak who followed routines and couldn’t bear any changes or socializing and not to mention her love life was a disaster! And she is a genius ecometrician! 😎I admire her strong character and how she found herself over the course of the story. It discussed some pretty hard hitting topics like how autistic people find it hard to deal with almost everything which involves socializing. There were times when I was soo close to tears because of what she was going through. 🥺It was heart -wrenching and heart -warming all at the same time. I loved how she dealt with it though, and how she didn’t let that rule her life or stop her from achieving her goals🥳 and earning a shit load of money.😂

“She had a disorder, but it didn’t define her. She was Stella. She was a unique person.”

“If you can’t stand being with a woman who’s more successful than you, then leave her alone. She’s better off without you. If you actually love her, then know the value of that love and make it a promise. That is the only thing she needs from you.”

Michael Larsen, on the other hand was this smart, funny, kind, loving, understanding and obviously handsome guy, who left fame and title and gave up his extravagent job in New York to look after his mother, who was suffering from cancer. He deals with his insecurities and self -doubts, while working hard to pay the bills and making all ends meet, and crushes his dreams with each passing day.

“Everything about him pleased her. Not just his looks, but his patience and his kindness. He was good. He was an obsession waiting to happen.”

(I might have used the audiobook for this one.🤫 I am really getting addicted to this😅. [sighs] Anyways, I loved his mom’s voice in the audiobook! It was extremely sweet and made you want to hug her!🥰)

It was a funny, witty and (of course) a romantic story that had me laughing, smiling, swooning and wanting more. It was heart warmimg to watch as they came together, drifted apart and then came together again!

(I honestly don’t know what’s happening to me. I feel like I have become a hopeless romantic. I never read so much romance…but this month…I really don’t know what’s happening.😶)

Have you read this book?
