✰ The Zodiac Sign Book Tag ✰

I am here with a tag post, after like eons! I used to do a LOT of tags initially, but I realized that they made me feel too overwhelmed and I didn’t really have fun writing those. Don’t get me wrong – I love it when you guys tag me! I really do. It just gets too hard to keep up and I feel bad about not being able to do all of them and then I fell so bad that I decided not to do any of them at all lol.😂 Gosh..I am so weird *nervous laughs* Now, that I am actually typing it, I realize how lame I sound. XD Anyways, I just had to do this one because (1) it has been created by a good friend of mine – Panna aka, iamswiftwalker @Just Dreamland (guys she writes amazing poems and she has even started writing short stories!🌈 Do check her out) and (2) I really obssess over zodiac signs…so yeah.😁

The Rules:

1. Link back to the creator(@Just Dreamland).
2. Answer all the prompts.
3. Use the original graphics and credit @Just Dreamland.
4. Name your Zodiac sign.
5. Don't forget to use #ItsAZodiacThing.
6. You can do either the music one or the book one or both!
7. Tag five bloggers.
8. Have fun!

I am doing the book one, and not the music one or both because…uh….I feel lazy.😅 So, proud of myself. I have used the original graphics made by Panna, and can we just take a moment to appreciate these gorgeous pictures! They are soo damn aesthetic! LOVE THEM.🤩

“Throne of Glass” is one of my all-time favourite book series. I haven’t been able to stop thinking about these books, the characters, the world, the feels….the anything literally. I read this series when I was going through a very rough time and this helped me go through it. It has a very special place in my heart. Have you read this?

“The Ember Quartet” – Gosh! There are not many words to describe this series except: WoW. I guess this is what is known as a “forbidden love”. I am not gonna mention the love interests, because I don’t want to spoil anyone. I am having serious closure problems with this series. 😫It’s been three months and I just can’t bring myself to read the last book.

Aha! The world of Rick Riordin, which I believe is also called Rick-Verse? I am not sure….but this world was my entire “early teenage life”. The sarcasm, the wit, the banters…in the “Percy Jackson” – I LOVE IT! I have read and re-read these books soo many times, that my copies are all battered now. And trust me when I say😇 – I am not gonna stop reading them anytime soon.

“The Chaos of Standing Still” – literally, really, truly, honestly spoke to me. It was like as if the author personally knew me, and had written this story for me. Never has a book made me feel so belonged…so “less lonely”. I could relate to this book a bit too much…so much so that it scared me, broke my heart and made me want to really go and hug the writer. 🥺

THE CHAOS OF STANDING STILL BY JESSICA BRODY!!! This is still one of my favorite books that I read in 2020. Partially because I wanted to start 2021 with a good book, and partially because it takes place on New Year’s Eve, I decided to reread it!
Review (reposted from previous post): This book was absolutely, wonderfully written. It made me laugh, it made me want to cry, it made me want to never stop reading. It was... beautiful. While some moments were very emotional and tense, you never felt like it was too much. The main character, Ryn, is stuck at the Denver International Airport on New Years Eve. More than anything, she wants to get home before tomorrow. She NEEDS to get home before tomorrow. But she is in the middle of the biggest blizzard in 100 years. When she accidentally switches phones with a boy in a muppets shirt, she gets the chance to make the most of a horrible situation. As I’ve already stated, I absolutely loved this book. It made me feel all of the emotions. Every single one one of them. I really have no idea what to say besides this book is most definitely worth the read.

Drama: check; Love: check; Fancy Wear: check; Hope: check;

“The Great Gatsby”, as people like to say, is the first one with a “simp”. It was a delight to read this book. It was like reading a high-school romance, except in another era – with parties and lights and billionaires and unfinished love and affairs and corruption. It took me a shamefully long amount of time to read it…becuase well ‘classic’ duh.😅 But it was great nonetheless.

Uh…I am not sure if this is what you would refer ‘A Court of Silver Flames’ as “a tender story”, because this book was anything but ‘tender’. It was like a frickin’ explosion! Since, this book was released recently, I am not gonna get into details – because I don’t want you to get spoiled. So, go read it! because this book deserves to be read.

The wound is still raw guys. It’s been a few months now, since I read “The Kite Runner”. This book was a bloody whirlwind. I cannot get over it. There really isn’t a lot to say about this book – if you know, you know. You can check my spoiler free review here though – Book Review: The Kite Runner.

“The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”, does not have a good plot twist; it has a bomb-blast sized plot twist. I feel like this book is soo under-rated! This deserves soo much more. It’s a masterpiece honestly. A crazy girl who is probably the most dangerous hacker ever and a smart driven journalist – tell me that doesn’t make the best team, when you want to uncover the truth!?

I am pretty sure that majority people won’t find “Bookish and the Beast”, to be adventurous, but it is definitely a great summer read. This is a “Beauty and the Beast” re-telling which is pretty obvious. Actually, I think the title speaks for itself: A booklover and a bad-boy fall for each other. If you are a booklover, and you don’t want to read it – I don’t believe you.

I think “Harry Potter” is one of the best books that portray the power of friendships! There were soo many great friend circles in this one! And do I really need to elaborate on this series – becuase literally everyone and their mother knows about this! lol

Saying that this book is quirky is probably stretching it too far, but to be fair – “His Dark Materials”, is one of the most unique stories that I have ever read! I think that this series is one of those, which can be literally read by any age group and it will still make sense. I am yet to finish this series…but then I don’t want to because..that would be the end. Ugh.

The cover! The cover itslef would have made me read it, even if the book was trash. lol. But the thing is – “The Girl who Drank the Moon”, is anything but ‘trash’. It’s just as gorgeous as it looks and then some! This is one of the best middle grade books I have ever read. Scratch that. This is one of the best books that I have read, period. With lots of hope, love, a baby dragon, a splash of magical realism and a dash of whimsy – this book is a wonder.

“How many feelings can one heart hold?... Infinite, Luna thought. The way the universe is infinite. It is light and dark and endless motion; it is space and time, and space within space, and time within time. And she knew: there is no limit to what the heart can carry.”

  1. I didn’t know you had stopped doing tags😅 but thanks a lot for doing this for the sake of me(and also for the sake of your obsession over them) it means a lot. Also, I haven’t read many books (I’m realising now🤣) but I will add them all to my tbr!!! Once again thanks for doing this tag!😘
