Everything about this book demanded to be read - the gorgeous cover, the synopsis, the concept, and even the first line which was, "Blood got everywhere and Mother wasn't happy about it." But unfortunately, it's one of the most disappointing books that I have ever read.
But I would be lying if I said that this book was just as good. It was actually pretty disappointing, and every moment I just wanted to go back to Alex and Henry.
This is one of those rare books that capture your mind, attention, thoughts, and heart right from the very first chapter.
Say hello to pride month guys! 🌈 🌹 I LOVE reading about queer people and so many of my favorite books stem from this genre, but I wanted to read more LGBTQ+ books, and what better time than the pride month? Hello! It's been a minute, and I just...ughhh! If someone knows how to write a proper introduction post, please let me know in the comments section. I am terrible at this! Anyways, I am not having the best reading month because my school re-opened and the final year in high school is just downright annoying 😭 Honestly, get the shovel someone, I feel like burying a few people. 😂 If only it was that easy 😒 So, I had re-read this book before reading ACOSF, and I had written this post then, but I forgot to post it, cause I still had to edit it a lil' bit, eliminate some typos and you know, I was just being lazy. 😅 This is not like my other Reading #vloginwords, because it's a re-read and this is more like a walk through all my annotations, and of course I have left out the very personal ones, and ... I hope you enjoy it! Also, this is NOT a review. We are gonna some spoilers. 😁

Sometimes children and even adults suffer from depression without even realising that they do and sometimes even when they get what's happening to them, people around them don't. People most often than not end up getting judged, misunderstood and even get called names. The story is a re-imagination of the infamous fable - " The Princess Who Never Laughs", and the synopsis pretty much sums up the plot. This is definitely a book that each and every child needs, especially in today's world where depression is, unfortuantely an extremely common occurence. This book makes you realise that just because you are a depressed, doesn't mean that you are not a person any longer. Because you are. You are just a little sad but one day you are gonna be better. Just because you are sad and not in a good mood, and don't feel like laughing, and you are angry and hurt, doesn't mean that you don't belong anymore. You just need a little time, and it's okay if you take it.
So, here are some books that I wish I could read for the first time once again. So, this is probably the most random post that you are ever gonna see from me. ...I just keep seeing people pick their noses 👃, like literally everywhere I go.😂 And suddenly, we end up making eye contact, and they remove their hand, and my oh my! If it is not "kill-me-right-now" level awkward! And I swear, I don't go around picking out people in the crowd who do this…I just keep noticing 👀 them. And I don't know if it is something wrong with me or if the quarantine has made people forget that it's weird when you do that in public. And it makes other people uncomfortable? Especially if that hand suddenly happens to reach your mouth, I am like Ewwwwww!!😂🤢 So, I thought of coming up with a list of characters who are likely to do this in public. I know - no connection whatsoever! 😅 But this is what happens when I think of books all the time. Lol. ...Onto the list:-
So, I decided to do this really impulsive thing because I just couldn't not do it. ......."This award is to honor every creative person, irrespective of their number of followers and views. Because, as long as you create, that is all that matters. This award is for those bloggers who put an insane amount of thought in each of their posts and for those who spread creativity like wildfire! Just wow!"..... I figured that this would be a kinda friendly and warm way to not only acknowledge creativity but also a great opportunity to connect more with this beautiful community! So, I urge you to spread more of the feels all over the world, wherever you can, whenever you can, because trust me: the world needs your creations.....
Sometimes, I wonder if it applies to me too. I wonder if the phrase - "too late to go back", holds true for me too. Maybe I have changed so much, pretended so long, lied so deep and come so far - that there is no going back. And maybe there never was...ever since I… Continue reading 𝖓𝖔 𝖑𝖔𝖓𝖌𝖊𝖗
