Sometimes children and even adults suffer from depression without even realising that they do and sometimes even when they get what's happening to them, people around them don't. People most often than not end up getting judged, misunderstood and even get called names. The story is a re-imagination of the infamous fable - " The Princess Who Never Laughs", and the synopsis pretty much sums up the plot. This is definitely a book that each and every child needs, especially in today's world where depression is, unfortuantely an extremely common occurence. This book makes you realise that just because you are a depressed, doesn't mean that you are not a person any longer. Because you are. You are just a little sad but one day you are gonna be better. Just because you are sad and not in a good mood, and don't feel like laughing, and you are angry and hurt, doesn't mean that you don't belong anymore. You just need a little time, and it's okay if you take it.
